Before I ever picked up a professional camera, I was working with children and families as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Neonatal Therapist.
I spent years learning how babies communicate, how families navigate those first overwhelming days, and what helps children feel safe, comfortable, and supported.
Then I found photography.
And something clicked.
The skills I had spent years developing in clinical settings were exactly what families needed in front of a camera.
I knew how to read a baby's cues.
I understood feeding and developmental stages.
I knew when to pause instead of push.
And I knew how to make parents feel like they didn't have to have it all figured out.
So I brought all of that with me.
Photography became the place where my clinical expertise and my love of beautiful things could finally meet.
I didn’t start with photography.
I started with babies.
Your photographer should know more about babies than how to pose them.
That's where my background matters.
