We'll discuss your vision, preferred location, and wardrobe style. You'll have access to my curated client wardrobe and personal styling guidance to coordinate outfits for you and your family. You'll know exactly what to expect before session day.
Phase two
Your Portrait Session
On session day, expect a relaxed, natural flow. Professional hair and makeup (included) ensures you feel beautiful and camera-ready. I'll gently guide you into flattering poses while leaving room for authentic moments. Sessions are low-pressure, connection-led, and designed so you feel at ease whether we're outdoors, in my Tampa studio, or in your own home.
Phase three
Gallery Reveal
Three weeks after your session, we meet in person or via Zoom to view your images together. You'll select your favorites and choose the printed heirlooms that will live in your home for generations.

When to Schedule Your Maternity Photos

The ideal window for maternity portraits is 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. By this point, your bump has a beautiful, full curve, but you still have the energy and mobility to enjoy your session.
That said, every pregnancy is unique. If you're carrying multiples, experiencing an early growth spurt, or simply prefer to capture your maternity session sooner, we'll adjust your date accordingly.
Golden hour sessions and weekend appointments fill quickly. I recommend booking your Tampa maternity photography session in your second trimester (16-24 weeks) to secure your preferred date and location.

A: We’ll keep a backup date on the calendar and can always pivot to my natural-light studio if needed.
Q: Should I schedule hair and makeup?
A: Professional hair and makeup will make you feel beautiful, polished, and camera-ready. Your styling will photograph flawlessly. I can recommend a hair and makeup artist for your session.
Q: When will I see my images?
A: Your Gallery Reveal is scheduled approximately three weeks after your session. You'll view your images together (in-person or via Zoom) and select your favorites, choose your printed artwork, and finalize your heirloom order.

Why I do this work
I came to photography through an unusual path as a certified neonatal therapist and Pediatric SLP working with fragile newborns in the NICU and helping families navigate infant feeding challenges.
When I picked up a camera, I brought that clinical expertise with me. I understand infant state regulation, feeding cues, and developmental stages in ways that shape how I approach every session. I know which newborn positions are medically sound and developmentally appropriate. I recognize when babies need breaks before they start crying. I understand toddler behavior and teenage communication styles.
This expertise creates sessions that are safer for newborns, calmer for toddlers, and actually enjoyable for reluctant teens and partners. Combined with museum-quality products and personalized styling, you get an experience and artwork that reflects the boutique, full-service approach Tampa Bay families expect.
Becoming a parent is one of life's most beautiful transitions, and I consider it a privilege to document this chapter for Tampa Bay families.
