Hi, We're Tina Marie Studio
Family at Easter egg hunt Tampa Bay spring event

Easter in Tampa doesn’t sneak up on you quietly. One day it’s January, and the next you’re somehow already behind on registrations, the good egg hunt spots are filling up, and someone in your house has strong opinions about the Easter basket situation.

Consider this your head start.

Every year I put together a roundup of the best Easter events happening around Tampa Bay- egg hunts, farm experiences, free community events, and the kind of spring activities that actually make memories. I update this list each year, so bookmark it now and check back when spring rolls around again.

Here’s what’s happening for Easter 2026, organized by date so you can plan your weekend (or your entire holiday week) accordingly.

Northdale Park & Recreation Center, 15510 Hooting Owls Place, Tampa, FL 33624

A no-fuss, no-registration-required community egg hunt, which is refreshing in a world of sold-out registrations and advance-purchase tickets. Ages are divided into two groups (2–5 and 6+) so the little ones aren’t competing with the big kids. There’s also a bunny photo booth, light refreshments, crafts, and games.

What to know:

  • Free to the public, no registration required
  • No minimum age
  • Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Age groups: 2–5 and 6+

Saturday, April 12, 2026 | 11am – 4pm | Egg hunts at 12pm and 3pm
1910 N Ola Ave., Tampa, FL 33602

Armature Works brings Easter to the Tampa Riverwalk with an event that goes well beyond a standard egg hunt. Think Easter bunny, petting zoo, craft station, DJ dance party (yes, really), airbrush tattoos, and food trucks.

What to know:

  • Registration required by April 10 or until spots fill up. Register early. Click HERE
  • Egg hunt is $15 per child
  • Two hunt times: 12pm and 3pm

What to Bring to Any Tampa Easter Event

Every event on this list benefits from the same basic packing strategy. Save yourself the parking-lot scramble:

  • Basket or bag — the bigger the better for the under-5 crowd who will collect every single egg
  • Camera — your phone is fine, but if you have a real camera, this is the weekend to use it
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen — it’s Florida in spring, which means it’s already sunny and warm
  • Water in a refillable container — hydration is not optional when you’re chasing toddlers in the sun
  • Snacks — not on every list, but highly recommended if your child has opinions about hunger timing

For paid events: have your ticket confirmation pulled up before you get in the car. Lines move faster when you’re not searching your inbox in the parking lot.

A Note on Spring Photos (Because Easter Morning Happens Fast)

Here’s something worth knowing before the holiday: Easter Sunday morning is peak “everyone looks adorable for exactly 15 minutes before the candy happens” territory. If you want to capture your kids in their Easter outfits before the chocolate situation takes over, or if you’ve been thinking about spring family photos in general, this time of year is one of my favorites to photograph in Tampa Bay.

The light is gorgeous, the weather is still comfortable, and the Florida greenery is at its spring best. March and April book up quickly for exactly this reason.

If spring family photos are on your 2026 list, let’s talk about timing and locations that work for your family →. I’ll help you figure out the right session type and the best Tampa Bay spots for your crew.

Frequently Asked Questions About Easter Events in Tampa

When do Easter egg hunts in Tampa typically happen?
Most Tampa Bay Easter events fall in the two to three weeks leading up to Easter Sunday, with the heaviest concentration on the Saturday before Easter.

Are Tampa Easter egg hunts free?
Some are, some aren’t. The Northdale Egg Hunt and Westchase WOW Egg Hunt are free to the public (though Westchase requires registration). Farm experiences like Old McMicky’s and Raprager Farm charge per person and require advance tickets. Armature Works charges per child for the egg hunt portion.

Do I need to register in advance for Easter events in Tampa?
For most events, yes- especially the popular ones. Farm events and Armature Works require advance registration and sell out. Even free events like Westchase WOW require registration to hold your spot. The only exception on this list is the Northdale Egg Hunt, which is walk-up friendly.

What age are Tampa Easter egg hunts for?
Most events cater to a wide range, though many divide age groups so younger kids aren’t competing with older ones. Westchase WOW is specifically for ages 1–10. Old McMicky’s Farm and Raprager Farm welcome all ages. Northdale divides into 2–5 and 6+ groups.

Is Easter a good time for family photos in Tampa?
Absolutely. March and April offer some of the best photography weather in Tampa Bay — comfortable temperatures, beautiful light, and lush spring color. Many families book spring sessions in late March or early April to capture this season before summer heat arrives. Learn more about scheduling spring family photos →

Tampa Portrait photographer

Hello, I'm Tina

Why I do this work

I came to photography through an unusual path as a certified neonatal therapist and Pediatric SLP working with fragile newborns in the NICU and helping families navigate infant feeding challenges.

When I picked up a camera, I brought that clinical expertise with me. I understand infant state regulation, feeding cues, and developmental stages in ways that shape how I approach every session. I know which newborn positions are medically sound and developmentally appropriate. I recognize when babies need breaks before they start crying. I understand toddler behavior and teenage communication styles.

This expertise creates sessions that are safer for newborns, calmer for toddlers, and actually enjoyable for reluctant teens and partners. Combined with museum-quality products and personalized styling, you get an experience and artwork that reflects the boutique, full-service approach Tampa Bay families expect.
